Having a play-around with the hubbed wands I got from Rays closing down sale
I think I can make this work with a bent coupling in the centre
Not sure what angle I'll need yet but it should add a touch more strength, not much but perhaps just enough in combination with another wand on the outside
I withdrew the Megamid pole from sale because I can use it as a reinforcing vertical pole if the weather gets really gnarly, replace the plastic cap with a small stainless eye bolt with a large diameter flexible wand section threaded thru the eye

I just ordered a 145 degree 9mm angle joiner from ANSCO; expensive but no-one else seems to have 9mm joiners, it it works and that angle is close enough I'll order a second unit for the outside pole

It fits
I like Gothic arches and it seems as if 145 was actually the correct angle.

Still looking at all the other options too.
That Rays closing down sale was good value

This project on hold until I can afford proper a Easton pole set from TPT or I decide to sell it off cheap
