Comments on the technical aspects/quality of photos are... what is the official position of the God of the game on such things? When I saw your name on the board, Eggs, I thought you would beat ILUVetc to it, but some cunning clues got him there.

Sorry - I love the photo. Just couldn't help noticing the tilt. I have a few with much larger angles - not even sure how I took one of them?
My daughter had a habit of taking 45 degree angle photos - she thought it was cool.
Please, please - not "God of the game" - probably "hanger on" would be better.

Is your photo on the SW coast - maybe New Harbour perhaps from the beach?
Sat 21 Nov, 2009 3:40 pm
Not the coast, but yes in the SW

It looks a bit like the edge of New River Lagoon, near where you look for the very brackish creek to see if you can find some potable water.
Sun 22 Nov, 2009 7:40 am
Nope , but i know what/where you mean.
its not fresh water

Horseshoe Inlet?
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 3:19 am
Thats the one!! 2 years ago in extreme dry conditions. We managede to avoid the swim and wade across the creek by following the sandbar 50mtr offshore. Only waist deep!

Mon 23 Nov, 2009 8:37 am
Might even be zoomed from Fishers point
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 9:25 am
It appears it may be at or very close to the whale sculpture on the Cockle Creek to Fishers Point walk
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 9:25 am
Yeh thats what I said/meant Eggs?

Yeah, the angle rules out a boat, unless it's a gigun!
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 3:32 pm
and the conical mountain looks like Leillateah (in front of the claggy Southern Ranges)
cheers

the ranges are a great place to be ... bar the 300 days a year when wind, rain, hail, sleet and snow make it a little challenging! Moonlight Ridge isn't bare of veg. for no reason!
Hmmm ... this sounds like us twiddling our thumbs until robl arrives to declare eggs the most accurate (or should that be you ILUVSWTAS?)
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 4:18 pm
Hahaha it's VERY similar mate

Sure is, it's one of my favourite locations.
I guess that's up to robl, but I do believe that my reply was first.

You might have been first but you are wrong
Fisher Point is a 40-odd minute walk along the coast from the famous whale.....nice spot.
There is ruins of an old pilots station there.
Sorry ILUVSWTAS, I'm with eggs the grand poobah of this game.....where's Robi, doesn't he/she know some us have nothing better to do with our time?
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 6:15 pm
Ah really? I thought it was like, right there??? 5 mins. Still it's been a couple of years since I was there. Ive got a photo of my boy aged 12 months riding that whale... I should have known better tho, Eggs has not yet once been wrong in the history of this game, why would he start now.
Mon 23 Nov, 2009 6:49 pm

The bronze whale lookout was on my mind.
Sorry being a bit late , the site seemed to be down for a bit.
