TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I couldn't help it

I just bought another tent
Somebody on the Facebook GearFreak page advertised a Minaret outer and poles for $50- [ $64 posted] Now I'm not sure if it the same model as mine but I'm hoping it is
If not I can use it for the poles alone but perhaps just the fly is good enough for mild weather use.
I'll find out in a couple of days when it arrives

Well the tent arrived today
It is the model previous to mine but I actually think as a summer/3 season tent these were better because you can really open up the front to use as an awning
It is a little sticky but a wash and a re-coat should fix that
Worth the $50- for the poles alone as spares anyway

Because it needs a wash and re-coat and in keeping with my own juvenile preference for stealth camping it will probably get a camouflage job at the same time. With just floor added I think it qualifies as lightweight

Pity you can't do a camo job on your nano puff as well Ted and I would be all over it like a rash - probably too large for me anyway

I'd like to do a camo stripe job on my yellow STS tarp but dulling yellow is probably futile!

What product would you use MD? Think the tarp is PU under and Siliconised outer.

Try the stuff I use
Feast&Watson timber stain from Bunnings, it does spead out when the thinned silicon hits it

Hmm, more detail on usage? Is there a spray pack of something else?

(I'll probably just get used to the yellow)
