This morning, kookaburras echoing from the next valley 5am and a lyrebird doing it's morning concert.

Lyrebirds just leave me spellbound. Heard one in the Royal National Park that had obviously been living near frogs in a culvert.

Kookaburra cackling at the ending day
Screeching trio of cockies
Crackling snap and hiss of a fledgling fire.
Bubble and rolling of boiling water.
Wild dogs calling at night.
Whoosh of fabric on the side of a tent.
High pitched squeak of bats overhead after dusk.
Rhythmic trill of crickets in summer.
Shrill buzz of a sleeping bag zip.
Gentle rush of wind in a valley through millions of leaves.
Deafening buzz and drone of 10,000 cicadas.
Almost inaudible burble of trickling water amongst the ferns.
Deer bark at dawn.
Background crash of a surf beach.
Sporadic staccato of rain drops on a shelter when inside.
