Hi,
I'm a longtime walker but a new member here,
Just wondering if anyone knows the status of the the 'tall trees' track in the Dial Range?
I did a search and couldn't find anything, but I had some friends tell me a bit over a year ago it was pretty overgrown with some fallen trees, does anyone have any more recent experience?
Thanks

I walked it once... about 2 years ago and took a school group there. A short easy track I am pretty sure.
I doubt it'd be overgrown because the Dial Range is usually well maintained and a popular place

I was there a few weeks ago. Just one mess of a tree down, which people might have made a bit of a path around by now.
Edit: or done a bit of clearing. (Getting around it involved dropping steeply down a few metres, then going back up again, as the track continued traversing at that point.)
Might get to check it out today.
Edit no.2: Sorry, friend I was with today wasn't well, so I didn't get to check it out. Will let you know if I do.

Turns out there is one quite big tree over the track at the location shown, I managed to scramble over it but if you are expecting a fairly basic walk (which the rest of it was) you might be a little disappointed.
I assume this is one mentioned, I had a bit of a battle to cross it
