Hi, I'm looking to do a 5 day hike in a mountainous area in NSW. Looking for some suggestions?

Well, we don't know your ability and interests, but you could do worse than the Blue Mountains, e.g. Kanangra Walls - Dexs Creek - Coxs River - Mobs Soak - Breakfast/Coxs Junction - Dunphys Camp Ground. This would need someone to drop you off at the beginning and pick you up at the end.
If you want a round trip, try the Budawangs. Start at Wog Wog and do a circuit that includes Monolith Valley. If you are fit and keen, you can add a scramble up The Castle. Lots of camping caves on this circuit.
Both of these options require good navigation skills and the ability to be self-reliant.

Be aware that Kanangra-Boyd National Park for bushwalking purposes is still closed, so the above route is not doable at the moment. (The only sections open are the main road and lookouts)

Thanks Rachel. Being stuck outside Australia I'm not up-to-date on all the closures.

Iirc, Dunphy Car Park is also effectively unusable - the bridge was damaged in the floods earlier this year.
Cheers

A new bridge has been built and is open.

Whereabouts roughly are you located and how far would you like to travel?
