Hi all,
I know Mt. Roland is usually a day walk. However I wonder if there are any decent campsites somewhere on top, if been there before but can't remember.

there was a post about this ages ago, you might be able to find it with a search.

Coming up from O'Neils Creek, just before you drop down to Minnow Creek there is a large area on the right side of the track. Then there is a smaller area right on the north side of Minnow Creek near the Bridge. Neither are brilliant, but quite acceptable just the same. We camped there back in November.

Water is an issue or could be an issue as the creeks do not have much flow with one not being healthy and the other one a lot better but it reduced in flow when the rain stopped.

Yes, very little water in November after a day of light rain. I doubt there would be any at the moment.

Hi
I had lunch in the middle of Minnow River just before the falls on Sunday last - 28th Feb. There was running water if you are happy drinking water that colour?
