Anyone for a Nude Walk?

I read this article on nude walking. Nice one :D

Would you go on a nude walk?
I did swim nude on the south coast some weeks ago and even caught some waves.

Paddling near Canberra some years back and we brushed past this nudist colony, no girls to be seen but plenty of guys lounging around in the water and on the banks. In a few weeks time it's going to be the great ocean walk so some nude activity might be on the cards given the water is close by.

Love the term 'Nakation' - brilliant.
I'm no prude when it comes to getting the kit off, however, when I do there is something deliciously 'naughty' about it.
Whether it is on the deck at home, or in a river, creek, tarn etc whilst walking - I like it to be 'naughty' - thats the spice.
Also, when the kit is off, one of the thoughts on the 'short list' of thoughts is sex - so stone me :D
I have never understood Nudism where one is expected to be nonchalant about nudity. I can't imagine having an intelligent conversation with someone with my kit off. Each to their own though. Especially a cruise liner full of naked people, I have never mastered the art of sitting like a lady, but at dinner time I would expect all the other males to, and the women also, unless I was allowed to pick the exceptions.

geoskid, having grown up as a naturist, I don't have see any problems with people just stripping off together and being nonchalent. It's a lot more sensible when you go for a swim to wear nothing than get dressed for it, and if it's warm, it's wonderful to have nothing on. Nudism as a social thing is just having the freedom to wander around with nothing on without anyone getting upset about it. Nakedness is in general far less erotic than bits of clothing strategically placed to leave things to the imagination.
Being naked doesn't feel naughty to me, maybe sensual - not sexual - because I only strip off if the air is warm or I'm swimming, and the feel of the sun or water on my body is a lovely feeling. And it's much less hassle than worrying about changing into bathers, then changing out of them, then having to find somewhere to put the wet bathers etc.

was wandering in the Royal NP in NSW a few years ago, and ended up in the wrong spot, walked along the coast under the cliffs to Werrong beach, the nudist beach there. Was wondering if anyone knows the "rules" about access to nudist beaches. Found it a little strange (although, expected) when i was walking back up the path from the beach to pass (and have a chat with) a man walking down, naked with his towel over his shoulder. Made me start thinking, is it only the beach or the access routes too that are "nudist"...

Anyway, regardless of that, I think long walks with a pack could get a little painful nude, could be lots of rubbing on hips/backs etc...

As far as I am aware it's only the beach that is (legally or unofficially) nudist, however many people remove their clothes on the approaches so as to arrive a the beach in the appropriate 'attire' As these beaches are usually fairly isolated anyway this shouldn't be a problem unless they are stripping off in the carpark or something.

I make it a ritual to have a 'nature moment' (naked) at least once for every overnight hike I do (when solo). My best experience was standing ontop of a cliff overlooking a wide open valley during sunset at Mapleton. Just spectacular.

Someone'll be on the TV tonight in all their glory. See attached link

http://au.tv.yahoo.com/the-morning-show ... ailwalker/

The OXFAM trailwalker challenge, 100km through the bush in between 24 and 48 hours, kicks off today.

Current Sydney temp = 12°, 40km winds = 3° allowing for windchill. It'll be an experience they'll never forget.

Quote: "the OXFAM guys are worried about hypothermia" when he was talking on ABC this morning.

Cheers,

As fair skinned Ranga I am ill suited to travelling the sunny climes in the buff. My Swedish/Irish ancestry is more a convenient excuse really, the truth of the matter is...rubbing zinc cream all over my private parts strikes me as more than unnatural offsetting any 'naturalist' appeal. as the old anthem goes 'I love a sunburnt Country but not a sunburnt dong'.
