TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I need to a shock cord replacement.
The stuff used by Helsport doesn't seem to be as high quality as other brands and has only lasted for 3 white seasons.
Is the 2mm sold by TierGear recommended or would the 3mm be better?

You can also get shock cord from boating shops and Bunnings…
Not sure about 2 vs 3 mm.

You might also check this person out. I have tried his (non shock) cords and have been happy with communication and the quality. Also very quick service.

There's a marked difference between TG's 2mm and 3mm bungy. Depends on what you want it to do.
TG bungy is quality stuff.

I'm selling the tent, I don't want to sell it in less than excellent condition but want to minimise my loss

Ask Simon. Reckon he'll know. I'm interested as well, as I need to replace some of mine.
