TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Where to buy Aarn

Sat 10 Apr, 2010 1:50 am

I want an Aarn pack. Well I think I want an Aarn pack, but I'll have to see one first. Where is the best place to try/buy one. I will be in Launceston this week, and in Melbourne on the weekend, and I will have time to look. Anyone got any suggestions where I should look.

Hello walkinTas,
Melbourne agent for Aarn packs is HikeLite in Somerset Place (off Ltl. Bourke St.) just opp. Paddy Pallin. Aarn packs are way too fussy for me but my Wife uses one and loves it!
Regards,
Randal.

The sign on the shop is BackpackingLite, same folk anyway.
(first lane on the left going up Lt Bourke from Elizabeth St.)
They usually have the full range and can fit it exactly for you.
I too was a bit perplexed at the start by all those straps and bits but I love it now...
