Not me, walking companion searching for something in their pack. Out of the shelter it was difficult to stand. It's not a road but probably generations of bushwalkers have sought shelter here.

Correct. A nice place to shelter on a summers day. Actually it was March.

I remember trying to shelter there in very similar weather, but wind was blowing rain underneath the overhang.

I have a vaguely similar photo from 2006 at Apsley Gorge.

Well, Bonds Craig, Reeds Peak and Great Dome from that side and that angle suggests somewhere in the Mt Field NP. Not Lord or Lanes - vegetation is wrong. Maybe from near The Watcher?

I've tried getting that same shot from near there but never had a decent result. Needs a lot of zoom and a steady hand.
