The ample cairnage suggests it may be a high point in it's own right.
There's Headlam Hill, which looks like it might fit, a little lower than Split Rock.

Thanks, I've driven along that road a few times but only ever done the Pine Lake doddle and Projection Bluff.
This is too easy but we had such a stunning view that day:
- Panoramic view of Mt Pelion East to West et al from the Overland Track en route to Lake Windermere,
Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair NP

I forget the name of the bluff, but it looks like the gulch on the Tasmania peninsula enroute to the blade. I haven't been out that way since pws and twc ruined it.

It is one of the three capes but it’s not Cape Hauy or Cape Pillar.
