Townsend? Those zoom photos of yours always make me hesitant to guess.

I recall reading about confusion on the location of Mt Townsend when reading about von Guerard.

Yes, Townsend. I was at or near the summit block. I can't recall if there was much zoom and I'm too lazy to look up the EXIF data

. All yours.

Yes, johnw's hint was a good one for anyone that knows the history of that area
Which hut in NSW was I at when I took this photo?

Not. There can't be too many huts left with a view of Jagungal.

Still, more or less, in the land of the "gongs".

Are you on the Kiama Coast walk near Werri?

Yes, just past the headland north of Werri Beach. I haven't walked that track for ages.
Doing a few kms along there should be easy enough to help with re-training my recently operated knee.

Yeah, the Kiama Coastal Walk would be a good place to start. Nice and easy.
Another NSW coastal a way away from Kiama though.

I have no idea with this one. To open the bidding I'll try Look At Me Now Headland/Serenity Bay near Woolgoolga.

Good grief, more *&%$#! than class

. Google was no help, so I just scanned the map and picked features that vaguely looked like they might fit.
Something different, with a bit of history. NSW:

- Part of Wirraway aircraft wreckage from 1940 at Aeroplane Hills/Wirraway Ridge, Blue Mountains NP via Hazelbrook NSW

Right idea but a long way from the Snowies.

Aeroplane hills?

Correct. Part of the remaining wreckage of Wirraway A20-17 from 22 Squadron RAAF based at Richmond NSW, which crashed near Hazelbrook in 1940, in what is now the Blue Mountains NP.
