Quite a way from there (and closer to your previous shot), and more remote

Thanks. That's a spectacular photo, although difficult to research without much experience of the area.
I think yours would be the best, and possibly only photo online from that viewpoint/angle?

From my doddle knee rehab walks in the ACT a few weeks ago:

It's a place I'd like to get back to with better light, although I think regrowth will defend that area pretty staunchly for years to come. That photo was taken about 2 years ago... at the time the scrub was only light between Mt Cole and Angel Creek but *&%$#! awful north of the creek (although from the camping cave at the cliffs above the top of the falls to the spur that the photo was taken from was ok going). Can't imagine what it would be like down there now.

Although I've had very little experience around there, my son has done quite a few overnight and multiday trips in the area.
He's often told me in recent times that it's gone from being clear open pads post 2019/20 fires to overgrown and difficult in many places.

Clues for the current photo. This wasn't actually a walk but I did wander around this historic property and a little beyond.
We had done a couple of short bushwalks earlier in the protected reserve in which it is situated.

No, but not far away. We drove past it on the way here. This place is within a reserve similar to a national park.

Broken it again, over 300 views and one guess. I mistakenly thought this would be really easy.

johnw wrote:This place is within a reserve similar to a national park.

And said reserve adjoins a well known NP, which contains sections of an equally well known long distance walking track.
This historic property has a geological name of sorts.

I've been to Tidbinbilla many times but never to this homestead. I'm about to head out for a couple of days so someone else should go.

I’ll jump in if I may? A relatively easy one…
Where am I and what is the prominent feature I’m looking at?

Bluff Lookout, Port Pirie?

If I'm correct anyone can go next. I'm at sea most of the next week.

Correct. I've not seen other photographs of it from this angle. I.e. from the approach road. Perhaps because people would be driving on the road from Macarthur, whereas I walked in from there.
