Strange findings in the bush.

I know there’s a thread dedicated to this subject already existing on here but I couldn’t find it? So I’ll just post here.

Recently on a walk down a very remote river I came across, among all things, a 44 gallon drum full of jet fuel. There are no access roads even close, the scrub on the bank is basically impenetrable and for it to float there it would have to bounce through many boulder fields and drop down numerous falls…surely puncturing the steel and sinking in one of the deeper pools.

Had me beat, could it have fallen from the sky? Surely again it would split on impact….

Any ideas.

Helicopter? Maybe you could report it, if it stays out there too long it would rust through and pollute the river.
noen ganger er det godt å være alene i villmarken

Report it.
I'd think both the EPA Environmental Protection Agency (pollution hazard) and local Police (lost property?).
