Stove base

Some help needed.
I've made a new base for the Firemaple Blade and the top is so slippery I don't think it will be usable without some method of holding the legs down and in place. I'm looking for suggestions on lightweight and easy ways to stop the feel from sliding around
The last one for this stove wasn't as slippery. I thought I should heatproof this one.
I can add some small blocks of wood held with silicone but perhaps some of you have better ideas

What about some stick on loop sections on the base of the feet from hook and loop tape?

Drill 3 holes in the base, maybe 6 mm, and use 3 UL pegs. 1 mm Ti wire with the top curled over is good. Pegs through the gaps at the bottom of the legs. Like this:

Total wt a gram or two.

Just had a "Thiunk" 3 crown seal tops glued down with a dab of silicone, trouble being I don't have any and I really don't drink any more.

I just weighed my micro-pegs. About 0.42 g each.

Hi Ted, I would drill a hole in the flat part of each leg and install a short permanent pin. Then drill corresponding holes in the base. (The pins would also assist on dirt and I think would be OK on benchs.)

The flat of the stove legs is tiny on this model, less that 4mm, I don't have the tools/skill to do that accurately for each leg. Good idea tho

Pins would work well but I would tend to lose all the bits. Why not punch divots in the plate for the feet?

I have the same burner (with & without preheat tube) and, other than on snow, haven't felt the need for a plate.

Well yes, cooking on snow is why you do need a base plate

Yes it is only 4mm wide but that’s enough for a 2mm pin at the inside corner. Anyway, instead how about folding the triangular end tips down 90 degrees? And then wrangle some slots in the base plate
