I think this is Ben Lomond, Ragged Jack on the left, Barrow the long ridge with the tower right at the back; maybe heading towards Mensa Moor summit?

Correct, although you have the direction wrong, heading home.

As a pedant, I can only applaud your reply.
Next, just name the track:

There is an Abel involved.
Thu 25 Jul, 2024 8:44 am
It was a noble endeavour ...
Thu 25 Jul, 2024 10:13 am
That doesn't narrow it down much.
Is there a Lord involved or more of a royal endeavour?
Thu 25 Jul, 2024 10:27 am
It is indeed a Lord.
ps: haven't seen you around for a while. Welcome back.

Thanks nnw. I'm better at the cryptic clues, than recognising views and lining up peaks.
I had initially thought it might have been from Mt Lord, but on checking, it doesn't match any of my views.

It is Mt Lord, zooming in on Conical (I think). At least, it should be, given the filing system ... has to be close if not actually on the summit.
I'm passing it over to you anyway. Get in there and give us our next shot.

These tarns don't have a name, so description of vicinity will suffice.

They really need to clean up the loop to make that easier to get at.

Sat 27 Jul, 2024 1:05 pm
Yes. Wonder how bad that creek crossing is now ...
Sun 28 Jul, 2024 11:44 am
Probably wrong but it reminds me of the top of Trestle Mountain
Sun 28 Jul, 2024 12:49 pm
Not far from the last, Weld?
Mon 29 Jul, 2024 3:09 pm
Yep from the top of Weld.

It was worse when I went some years ago, no ledge to walk on. Probably much worse now.
