GAME: Where am I?

The "peak"I am referring to is the one you can see, in focus, in the middle of the shot!! No tricks in this one guys!! Just have a guess or 2.....

And Stu was right Walker, it isnt Leillateah

The "peak" in the middle could be Mt Piguenit, but I have no idea of the other stuff.

Ok look thats close enough.
Robl has correctly identified the peak.

The peak in the background is Esperance. I am nearing the top of LUCKMANS LEAD. The ridge in front of Pigunet is the ridge leading onto Hopetoun.

I'd say you are on Hazards Beach

If it is in Freycinet, I suspect that might be Schouten Is in the background.
That could place him on Passage Beach.

And I should congratulate ILUVSWTAS on the picture from Luckman's lead. I have photos of all the peaks he had in it, but the Esperance profile just didn't click.

Yes - what a beautiful morning we had there.
This is looking over the Western end towards the point which drops down as the Little Fisher River valley
- Turanna Bluff is just peaking over in the right rear.

The first picture I initially thought it may be at the western end of sisters beach, but on second glance I realised that it wasn't. I think it is probably somewhere in the north east, possibly between Bridport and Tomahawk, but I'm not sure. Is the second picture taken from Bakers Beach??

pic 1 is not between Bridport and Tomahawk but you are near the correct part of the island.
pic 2 is not Bakers Beach.
When I have a correct answer for one pic I will reveal the location of the other.

Then maybe it is Beechford or Bellingham - it definately looks like one of those shack towns on the north coast.

pic 1 is west of all guesses so far.
pic 2 was taken at 9 am in winter. Yes, that is frost on the beach.

pic 1 Eott was quite hot with his first guess, but his second is quite cold.
pic 2 Some clues. The 1100m (or so) mountain featured has only been pictured and mentioned once before in "the game".

OK - so first pic could be Lulworth - a boat ramp is clear in Google Earth

Is the second shot from Southport Lagoon towards La Perouse?

Actually - second thoughts on the second picture - perhaps Simpsons Bay on Bruny - looking to Mt Wellington?

eggs has found lovely Lulworth. Eott was so close with Weymouth.
The stumps in the foreground were a part of a jetty at the end of the tramway from the slate mines at Pipers River.

pic 2 Would you get frost like that at Southport Lagoon? Clues. The mountain is 1095m on my map and is named from its shape.

friend of mone has a shack at southport and they had ice on the beach last week.

BUT i'd say pic 2 is TABLE MTN (featured once in the game by me) and you are on lake crescent
