Well the week has come when i must leave Tasmania. just like to say a big thankyou to all on this forum for the xlnt and usually spot on information regarding hikes. been down for 4 months and been lucky enough to do bout 7 hikes (1 overnighter), and loved every minute. so thanks for all the shared and helpful info. final walk last saturday was mt rufus/ shadow lake circuit, amazing variety of landscapes and spectacular views from summit. thanks again and happy hiking to all , iain.

Nice, glad you had views from Rufus, an excellent circuit walk.
Interesting title for the first pic, I'm sure their is some buttongrass in there somewhere :wink:

Agree about the photo of Gingerbread and Frenchmans! I look at that and think Did I really climb that? Looks massive!
