So based on preferences; anyone interested can catch up for a chat and coffee at 11am next Saturday - 21st Aug at Cube (at the Seaport, Launceston). If you're interested in coming, please add your rsvp to the meet-up tool; I know there's a few others that could come along!!.........come one, make the effort; it'd be great to see you!!

And as mentioned previously, if you're interested in the footy, the Hawks play the Fremantle Dockers at Aurora Stadium (Launceston) that afternoon!

I'm looking forward to it!
Hey, Phil - what time are you planning for us to meet there tomorrow? (Might want to add it to the notes/plans section of the meetup tool as well as post it here).
PS. Ah, never mind... After having more than just a "man look", I see a few posts further up you said 11am. Very good, I'll see some of you people at 11:00am tomorrow.

I have come down with some sort of winter lurgy

but am committed to set up and run the DYKT Show tonight at Exeter, so may be a write of for the 11.00am meetup. Will see how quickly the antibiotics work and how the body feels after tonight. I'd love to share your company but not my "bugs." A bit of sunshine would help!

Couple of late withdrawls, just like the Freo Dockers for tomorrow's match at Aurora!! I'll still be dropping in for sure; see the rest of you there tomoz at 11!

I'll be there barring unforeseen events.

Well I have had it in my mind to try and get there, but a confirmed photo shoot (paid, sort of) tomorrow means I will be up some mountain somewhere (likely in the snow) rather than in a coffee shop in Launceston. My apologies.
Hope you all have a great time.
Adam.

HI, all,
Got up late this morning and thought I won't be doing anything productive today anyhow, so my wife and me may come as well, if it doesn't bother anyone
Sat 21 Aug, 2010 10:32 am
Excellent, samh... hope to see you there.
Yes, a central meetup for next year would be a good idea. Feel free to organise it, you guys!

(and yes, Zeps is good, even for those of us who don't like coffee).

Great to see everyone this morning, sorry that I had to head off, had to pick up the young fella from soccer.....and my 2 girls were starting to get a bit restless if you didn't notice! (they did well to last as long as they did!)

Thanks for organising it Phil. It was a great morning - the bacon and eggs were fabulous, and the company was pretty good too.
Sat 21 Aug, 2010 1:49 pm
Yeah I really enjoyed it. Had a few classic tassie moments in finding out who knows who etc

@ brett - It's always a funny moment when you know someone's name from the forum but they have never seen you..
Sat 21 Aug, 2010 2:53 pm
Yes, it has been great to catch up with you guys and put some faces to names.
Sat 21 Aug, 2010 4:42 pm
Nice to see you all. Thanks Phil. And the girls were wonderful really.
Look forward to the next one.

Who took all the pics then?
Mon 23 Aug, 2010 12:32 pm
Hi
Great meet-up with large coffee and good bacon/eggs

As per normal in Tassie if someone does not know you from a past life then you must have only just got of the plane from a remote place. Hey WalkinTas i must find that assignment, I think I still might have it

No cameras were spotted so sorry Flyfisher some will remain faceless and greet you by name when you least expect it, correct Nik.
Anyway good to catchup and put names to faces.
Cheers Brett
