EDIT: Well, since I apparently started this "thread"... "ILUVSWTAS is a deplorable braggart and his "peak bagging" exploits are nothing more than self aggrandisement!!!" :D

Actually I think perhaps you need your tents to contain your ego's more than we do?? :D

"All"? Massif/Geryon etc are quicker to get to from our end of the state, surely? :P

Maybe those two and the Du Cane Range are quicker from the south if you take an expensive boat trip, but the rest are definitely quicker from up here. Besides if you're gonna fork out for a boat you might as well take a helicopter, then they are all much closer to Devonport

I've walked the lake so many times, the boat still almost feels like good value. ;-)

Funny thing, the peakbagging list is often a pretty good gauge of quality peaks... Fedder 10, PB 9, Diamond 8, Geryon Sth 8, Frenchies 7, Anne 6, Coronation 6, Humbolt 6, Spires 6

Definitely good value that boat. :D

Aren't we lucky in this state to have so many great mountains in the south :D 8) and then have plenty more in the norf :D etc.

Stops too much traffic in the one area and gives a nice little stirring point. I must remain neutral  as I live in the south and walk largely with northerners.

Still, main thing is we all get out and have fun. :D

Citizen, please remain at your current location and do not be alarmed. A representative from the Department of Purity and Reprogramming will be with your shortly. Have a nice day.

That and "the skinny". You can't have fat cult leaders or prophets, it's just not the done thing.

[EDIT: I can't believe people paid $600 for a $500 tent. Ah ha. I'll know where to come to sell my overpriced grey imports now.]
