TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Has anyone tried this jacket? I have been looking for a lighter weight 3 ply Gortex for winter/snow trips overnight and looked at one of these at Mountain designs. It weighs about 510gms. I found it comfortable in shop and liked it but can't find any reviews of it. MD have it on sale at $562! (Down from RRP $$750!). I can get it from USA on line for US$240! + freight approx US$80 - ie about A$337 all up! Love to hear from anyone with experience of this one?
