TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

hello all, very new around here atm..
i am needing some advice - i currently in the market for a new sleeping bag that is light, warm, and compact.
been looking at how to pull down my pack size and weight - currently using a 40 litre macpac amp - I have been looking at the Alpkit 400 Pipedream, Rab Neutrino SL and the Thermarest Haven. I am thinking the last two would go well with my thermarest pad, be compact and light weight. but i am a little unsure of which way to go - living in melbourne, victoria.
any advice or guidance would be appreciated.
thanks heaps

Have a look at the Lafuma Warm 'n Light 1000 Sleeping Bag. I've got one and its amazing for pack down size, weight and comfort. Not that easy to get hold of in Australia but well worth the effort.
