TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hey all.
Does anyone have any experience with E-vent fabric bivvies? I am looking at buying one from the states, probably from one of the following manufacturers, but am after any opinions/advice. My main requirement is relative lightweight and simplicity, and would prefer a full e-vent floor, none of this PU stuff.

Tim,
You should contact crossfire and have a chat to them and see what they can work out for you. There web site is in shambles but I am sure its because they are a busy bunch.
I believe that Integral Designs started out making military gear and then into the civy side of things. Maybe contact them as well. You may find if you mention what you do for a living you may get a little more help due to the unique uses it will get.
As for use I have herd glowing reports but have never used them.
Hope that helps a little.

Yeah cheers,
I have spoken to crossfire a few weeks ago after hearing the rumours that they would be putting up an event model. Apparently they are a few weeks away from becoming available, which is no biggy, but they will supposedly weigh in at over a kilo, which isn't ideal. We'll see.
