Morton is a little too south, & the Blueys a little too west

Motorbikers love this highway (windy & steep) & the pie shop at the top is a good finish to bushwalk/abseil/drive
-the highway has the same name as the region
& the waterway creating the waterfall has a similar name to the National Park it is in

That was a tough one Lizzy, but I have now seen a lot more pictures of waterfalls around the Sydney area.

I will put an easy one on to finish off my evening, this lake is in NSW, what is its name. and what track was I on when I took the photo.

Club lake it is and the Track was the main Range, even though I did the Main Range highest ten this summer, the photo was taken the previous summer, when I did the MRT with my wife.

Your turn juju.

I would like to have spent more time in Kosi when I wasn't so far from it.
I can't find a pic now and I won't be near a computer tomorrow, so anyone can have my go.

This photo is also in NSW. What is the name of the track this photo is taken from?

Hi Michael,

That stream could be any one of thousands in NSW, you might have to give us some clues, do you want the name of the stream or do you want the name of the National Park, is it northern NSW or southern, my guess by the vegetation it is in the north.

Looks sort of northern rainforesty...

Yes, some clues would be good. It could be many places including some around the Sydney region. I'll take an initial guess and say Campfire Creek in Blue Mountains NP at Glenbrook (lower Blue Mtns).

Re: Game: Where-is-it (Aussie)

Mon 14 Mar, 2011 7:20 am

Yes, it is a hard one. Sorry johnw not Campfire Creek.

Some clues: Location is surprisingly close to Sydney. Well used area. A named walking track crosses this creek. When this creek is flowing well it's a very beautiful location, just watch out for the leeches.

Naming the NP is the easy bit, so lets see if someone can name the creek.

Is it the creek on the Jerusalem Bay track after descending from Cowan in Kuring-Gai Chase NP (part of the Great North Walk)?

Re: Game: Where-is-it (Aussie)

Mon 14 Mar, 2011 8:47 am

Not the GNW from Cowan.

This could be so many places. Will be very hit and miss I think. Is it in KCNP?

Sorry to have caused you embarrassment Michael. Now I'm embarrassed and sorry for being a spoil sport. So unless someone else posts another pic, I'll have another stab at it.
Is it Forest Path track or Wollumarra Track and Bola Creek in the Royal National Park? - (it has leeches and is close to Sydney).
