Had a quiet day at work so knocked this up for some fun(and escape), don't knock the camerawork because that isn't my area of expertise and clips are pretty much all handheld and recorded on domestic stills cameras over the last 3 years.
Hope you enjoy

Cheers Mark just a bit of fun, cameraman needs a good talking too, has the shakes badly!
Yeah, you get 3 showings - Franklands crew leaving Sprent @ 1:07, coming off Snowy North @ 1:11 and Packers Spur near the end(only video I got from The Thumbs before I dumped my camera in that creek).
Hey Tony, thanks for that, I'll do more as the image library grows
Tue 02 Nov, 2010 1:46 pm
Lol, thats right I forgot about the camera dunking. You were having a bad run at that stage.

Fantastic video - I had a smile on my face the whole time I was watching it. Thanks for sharing it!

God you're good. We could save a fortune by firing all the people employed to promote Tassie tourism and just employ you, and maybe a cameraman with a lense cloth as well
Loved it
Tue 02 Nov, 2010 5:13 pm
No worries alliecat, pleasure was mine!
Now sthughes if you can convince Tourism Tasmania to spend their money with me I could afford to employ a descent camo to tag along on walks, can you imagine .........
Thanks for compliments folks, was much fun to make.
and BTW, big credit has to go to the lads from LaVista for their music, an excellent local band, produced locally - Tassie has much talent!

Neat. Some beautiful stuff there. Some of it even has a level horizon.
But . . . it's a bit blokey, isn't it? Don't you ever walk with women?

Off track walking and peak bagging tends to put them off...
My better half is sceptical of any walk I suggest now.
First question 'Is it a scrub bash?'
Then she look on the forum and at Stu's track notes.

HaHa, more than happy to take you for a walk nnw, if you can keep up
If you didn't get the hint from the lyrics I walk by myself 90% of the time - guess I need to get in touch with my feminine side!
Cheers bw, it's the ultimate game of 'Where am I' - how about a free personilised DVD for anyone that can name every location?

No, I definitely couldn't keep up. Twenty years ago maybe, but not now.
Lyrics? Oh, yes, people have been mentioning some music. I did notice the title of the piece. A good theme, that.

THANKS for posting this SBS! GREAT! Just found it backtracking through the forum topics I had not been able to read last year. Fancy a guest spot in a future LWC DYKT show sometime?
Wed 18 May, 2011 7:36 pm
Just watched this thanks to Tas-man backtracking (thanks Tas-man!).

Awesome stuff, I went for a walk yesterday and want to be back out there now. Luckily I have a few walks lined up in the very near future or I would be a cranky "little vegemite" to be living with after watching that. Porn for Peakbaggers.

Hi Stuart,
I'm not really up to speed with domestic video editing software but.....
Some people quite like Sony Vegas, imovie or Premiere Pro, which could easily produce the type of video I have, next step up is Final Cut Pro, then Avid. I'd recommend Avid of course
Have fun!
