Loverly, did you get on top, doesn't look like many have recently? Ive shown them to an ol mate who confirms just how rare such snow cover is/was. It seems to be holding up well so far.

No we didn't get to the top - too icy for snow shoes - made it to the traverse section. Two did make it but had crampons and ice axes - more stuff to buy!!!

Looks absolutely fantastic, did you need snow shoes or could it be done without ?

I'm hoping I'll head up in the next few weeks, any ideas on snow cover a week later ?
