Starting from the car park at the start of Mason Bird and Heritage Trail, Carmel, this walk takes you on a circuit around the area, visiting Victoria Dam. The walk offers you a variety of wildlife and flowers. The greatest time to visit the area is the beginning of the spring when there is plenty of water, and the flowers bloom beautifully. You can have a tranquil experience when you reach Victoria Dam, which offers you panoramic views of the azure water with plenty of sunshine. The trial is also suitable for cycling, and picnicking is possible around the dam. Keep in mind that the gates to the reservoir are closed on weekends and after 5.00 pm on weekdays.
