Starting from The Springs picnic area on Pinnacle Road, Wellington Park, this walk takes you to Lenah Valley, visiting Sphinx Rock, New Town Falls and multiple historic huts along the way. A great bushwalk suitable for families (including dogs) year-round, this trip has great diversity when it comes to points of interest. You'll start with a day use area fitted with toilets, BBQs and day shelters. Then comes Sphinx Rock, where you'll be able to get some excellent views of the Organ Pipes and the city. Leave some time to visit the historic stone huts as well, you may find them interesting. New Town Falls may be small in size, but it's still a gushing waterfall that'll provide some serenity if you just close your eyes and listen. As mentioned above, dogs are allowed on lead.
