Other planned events: Notice of weed control programNSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting weed spraying from Monday 21 October to Friday 22 November. The operation will use BUFFALO (Bromoxynil and MCPA) for the control of Bindi in the lawn.
The program will take place in Greenfield picnic Area, Jervis Bay National Park.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 ground baiting programNotice of 1080 ground baiting program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting ground baiting program from Monday 22 July 2024 to Friday 20 December 2024. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of foxes.
The program will take place in the following parks:
- Seven Mile Beach National Park
- Comerong Island Nature Reserve
- Jervis Bay National Park
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species.
All baiting locations will be identifiable by signs.
Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
