Pina colada

Postby Bill P » Wed 08 May, 2024 9:06 pm

Looking to make Pina coladas for the team on an extended trip. White rum and the little umbrellas are sorted. I think the Ayam coconut powder will be ok. Struggling with the pineapple component. Thinking of trying to dehydrate pineapple juice? Or perhaps this type of pineapple powder is available in AU? Any ideas welcome.

the Ayam coconut powder is pretty great.
Simmering down a bottle of pineapple juice into a syrup is probably your best option

To take the thread well off track :)

I’ve always had a problem with this song.

Basically, a man advertises in the local paper for someone to commit adultery with.
His wife responds, also looking to commit adultery.
When they find out about each other it’s all unicorns and rainbows.

Sound about right?

Thanks Crollsurf, that looks ideal but $38 for 100gr delivered is a bit high for a novelty activity. Ill simmer down a litre of pineapple juice and see how that goes.
