I've finally gotten to the point where I feel I could justify getting another tent. Presently I am using an old second-hand MacPac Eclipse (1.5P, 3-season, 2.8kg!) that I purchased off eBay about a decade ago... but it's really too short for my fiance who's 6'2" (183cm?). (I've inadvertently lightened it up a bit by having to replace the poleset when one fractured on a trip... and as Macpac doesn't make the tent, and didn't have any spare poles anywhere anymore I ended up purchasing a similar and slightly larger poleset and cutting each section to size with a hacksaw

As a relatively short female I've never really considered that tents could be too short for someone! Whoops!

So I'd like to ask the brains trust for suggestions for an appropriate tent. My preferences would be:
1. 2 person
2. 3 season or so
3. Able to accommodate a tall-ish guy of 6'2"
4. At the very least, lighter than my current tent as I'll probably use it from time to time solo
5. Preferably fly colour sympathetic to Australian environment- see 'female hiking alone' thread- if walking solo I want to be not glaringly obvious
I don't use hiking poles but would be happy to look into some collapsible poles if there's something that people would typically use hiking poles for and is otherwise a clear winner.
Any help appreciated!!!
