Well, it looks like to me like the Frenchman and friends on the left, the Spires in the middle, and Mt Weld on the right! I'll concede on the Spires, but is either one of the others what we're looking at?

Frenchmans and spires are correct. I think the other may be Eldon Peak

That is the summit cairn on Snowy South (well, I have a big picture of it on the wall, so ...). Looking West to the Anne Range.

Thanks Graham. I was reasonably sure, but on my only trip to Projection I didn't walk that far across it.

Yes teak, in extremely blustery conditions. The wind actually face planted me into the ground immediately I arrived on that little plateau.
There is some sort of weird weather phenomenon that happens up there.
