TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

2 Brand new hiking shoes, but there both the right shoe!

My wife and I bought each other Lafuma hiking shoes from a shop in Newcastle for Christmas last year. With it being a busy year with work and 3 kids, I was looking forward to a recent weekend away camping and hiking. I got out my new LaFuma shoes, put on the right one. It felt solid yet light, comfortable & supportive. I couldn't wait to put the other óne on and head off. So I pulled out the other shoe and well... it was another right shoe!!! So I went camping in my old shoes and had a great time. The shop in Newcastle has now closed down and the manufacturer won't help. They are La Fuma M XCURSION (LFG 1746) Deep Grey-Anthracite size 10.5UK.

So before I throw these shoes out, if anyone has a need for 2 right shoes, please let me know. (If you bought the same shoes from Peak in Newcastle and have 2 left ones.... let me know too!) :D

Thanks
Murray

They'd be ok if the track was in a circle ;-) sorry.

On a more serious note thats really heart breaking. I hope the Sydney store can help you out. I've once had different size shoes come home in the box but thankfully discovered that quickly and returned them.

Peak 15 in Sydney is now a dive / watersports store. Same owners and staff and they still have some Lafuma & Millet gear floating around. Good luck !

Murray
You have just answered this puzzle :
How can you have two shoes of the correct size but both right and wrong at the same time ?

Same colour and size... Just another possibility.
Sadly it's not the first time I've seen things like this, a store here in Tassie were once selling one pair of a popular brand boot either of different size, or model, I forget which.

I debated for some time how best to post this problem of mine & from the responses I realise I made the right choice. If this ridiculous issue has made people *&^%$#! themselves laughing, fall out of bed and otherwise have a good laugh, it was well worth it! Now if I could just track down that bloke with the two left shoes.....
Have a great weekend...
