Forum rules
Please keep the width of embedded images (using [img] [/img] tags) in this forum to no more than 800 pixels wide (this will avoid them being clipped without notice by most users' window sizes). Attached images can be any resolution so long as the file size is no more than 1 MB (attachments will be displayed by the forums as thumbnails no larger than 800 pixels linked to the full-size image).
Please include a description of the pictures' content so that readers know what they're all about.
For topics focussed on narrative rather than the photos, please consider posting in one of the 'Trip Report' forums instead.

nice stuff iluv, thanks for putting them up! snow cover on the higher peaks looks great in contrast to the surrounds. plus the mists hovering over the lake! espesh like the first few with the water reflections

cheers bro. yeh it was a surreal experience being up so high, sitting in t-shirts with no wind... snow everywhere, yet quite mild! a very memorable trip.

Here's a pic of ILUVSWTAS and a panoroma looking west to part of the Franklads and all of the Wilmot Range. I reckon that Sprent is on the far right. And guess what: I've got a version of the first photos as my wall paper - a magic view once we had escaped from an unnecessary (as it later turned out) bit of scrub.

I dont do daypacks unless it's an all day sidetrip, I just stuff my coat pockets full with whatever i need, and tie it around my waist.

Yer, I'm a bit the same. It's a good change when it's just a few hours.
Easier when there's plenty of water around, which is seldom the case up here.

I have only just discovered this post. Fabulous shots, especially the first lot with reflections ... and I also loved the snow. Thanks so much for sharing!!
