Where do you get that heavy foil for the windshield? I've rigged up a very basic shield, and want something better but I can't find that stuff anywhere.

You could always start your own game - "What stove is this", or "What gear am I using". :D

Yeah, that's what I've rigged my current one up from, but it's far from ideal. For one thing, it's not deep enough for a larger canister and only borderline for the smaller ones.

A baking tray is what I have been using. It's no too bad as you can cut it to size... Carbon felt or titanium sheet is what I look to moving towards.

Where do you get one that deep? The deepest I've found are not much more than half that.

Problem is wT some folk would not be able to have 6000+ posts as there is a limitation on gear unlike endless photos of more of the same Mountains in diverse weather from different angles  still like the pics tho!!
And we do have a very informative gear thread in case you have missed it that is the back bone of the forum IMHO

I'm really in need of a good bit of flashing, mate.

Seriously, enough to make a decent windshield for a stove would be wonderful. Say, about 8 inches by 16 (or 20 X 40 cm for the metrically minded).
