Update: http://www.theadvocate.com.au/news/loca ... 01630.aspx

Helen's funeral was held today in Burnie.

Edit: I knew Helen through my wife, but Helen has walked extensively in Tasmania and overseas, so some of you may well have met or walked with Helen.

I've walked with Helen for the past couple of years with the Monday walking group and it was sad to hear of her passing. It just goes to show that no matter how experienced we think we are, something beyond our control can happen.
