TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Working now. How odd. Thanks for notifying me of the link - I would not have found it otherwise.

Hi Wayno,

Thanks for posting the link to the Backpacker gear guide, I had a quick browse through the guide and it is interesting that a lot of the best choices where cheaper REI branded gear, I quite liked the Editors Choice REI 62 l pack http://www.backpacker.com/gear-guide-20 ... gear/16420 1.5kg and only US$189.

I've been eyeing off the Sawyer Squeeze filter ever since my Steripen started playing up.
