well here it is :

This is most likely the stove you don't want and almost certainly the one you don't need, nevertheless it is an interesting product.
(for me...)
Just received this today after it was sent to a Californian address early last week so to use a cliche hot off the press...
So far as a stove it works very well indeed , as a USB power supply not at all but very possibly my fault..
(I will need to do some more tests...)

and I'm waiting to hear from Bio Lite about why mine is dead...
(I could have right now a heavy duty and very well made Bushbuddy. I can't be bother testing it without the power unit but at the start, before you switch the power on (that is if you have any) it works just like one...)

I think you can achieve a similar result by glueing a peltier device to the side of your cooking pot.

The difficult part is keeping the other part cool enough to get the required difference in temperature.
The Bio Lite does this with a fan and a very large heatsink.
The Power Pot uses water to cool the other side so I expect it to work only whilst the water is heating up and not or not well when it is boiling.

Where does the power for the fan come from?
I'd be using a large heat sink such as those designed for power transistors. It would need to be shielded from the heat source. Could look a bit clumsey. A regulated dc-dc converter would keep your iPhone/iPod/iPad smiling.

The Bio Lite has a built in 750mAh LiIon battery.
You first charge that up via USB then the stove will keep it charged.
It can only send power out when the fan is on high .
