Tassie Devils: Learn Something New

Postby whynotwalk » Fri 18 Jan, 2013 8:54 am

Thought you knew a little about Tasmanian devils? Check out what some Canadian schlock horror film makers have to show us about these little guys. If this doesn't keep you on your toes when bushwalking in Tas, nothing will!!

Link to trailer below ... and NOTE: *gore warning* ... some not nice scenes in this (albeit laugh-out-loud funny/weird for Tasmanians!)

OMG. Looks like a masterpiece. But you can clearly tell it wasn't shot in Tasmania though...

Yep - SyFy are based in Vancouver, and film their masterpieces there.

'Winnie' from The Wonder Years has come along way....

They should launch the film here surely. It looks great.....

I bet that woman with the flamethrower is the reason the Giblin River fire started!
This makes me the first man to climb Mount Everest backwards, without oxygen...or even a jumper.

The Splatter genre comes to Tassie, using a chopper to slice and dice. Ingenious. Cannibalism is so Tuesday.

I think the only thing they got right was the TasPAWS emblem. Surprised they were allowed to use it . . .

LOL, glad I didn't see that before we did our first walks in Tassie in Christmas. We'd have been too scared to have left our motel.
Another variation would be that a bite infects the vicim with Transmissible Facial Tumour Disease, and goes on to be a world epidemic.
When are they going to make one about Jumping Jacks?
I can't wait

Somehow I don't think this film be too highly grossing at the box office...
