TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Lightweight hostelling - old list I found

I was doing a clean out and found this list I picked up in the Boston USA Youth Hostel where a fellow called Wayne Walden gave a talk about the topic on April 18, 1995.

It is a multi-generation copy and not so good but you can make out most of it except the word that is beneath "nail clippers" which is "tweezers" and the words after "fanny pack" are "(kangaroo pouch)". Also after "neck pillow (inflatable)" the next item in the list is "space blanket".

I thought it might be of interest. This is a bit like bushwwalking but using the hostel as your "tent",
