A friend had a look a couple of months ago and took his 4wd car most of the way up, he was running short of time and had to turn around.

Take the highway to Warratah, head along the B23 to Heazelwood. 2-3 k's short of here is a road.

Mt Cleveland road.

Walk or drive up this to the top.....

Looks a bit steep/slippery from the photo I've seen. I recall someone saying 1.5/2 hrs, but I could be wrong.

I doubt it... not unless you want to get it down again. I've got my old 2wd into a few places with no fear, it wouldn't have got up here...

I had a look a few months ago. I got to a section that was a steep sustained slope and I couldn't see what was around the corner.
Being I was in a new Subaru I really didn't want to take the chance of doing something silly.
I could have got up that bit, but it would have been a nightmare if I'd had to reverse down.

I was still a few km from the top, the road wasn't exactly heading straight for it and I needed to get back to Hobart by a reasonable time otherwise I'd had walked it.
