I'd like to reiterate the thanks. It was a good walk.

As for hoping to do it again soon... yeah, well is next week still on the cards? The weather will need to be decent for Mother Cummings.

Yep it was a nice, easy, scenic walk with good company and not too much rain

I've uploaded some pictures here in case anyone is interested: http://s441.photobucket.com/albums/qq136/simonthughes/Meander%20Falls%20June%202009/

I'll echo most of that, though my aching muscles today suggest it wasn't quite as easy for me :)
Thanks all for your company and patience.
Enjoyed the photos, may as well post some of mine:

Looks like it was worth the walk, nice photos. Did you do the circuit via Split Rock, or just in and out?

You're right about the scree field, I remember that being a fairly serious stretch of boulders! I came down it but I think it would have been easier in some ways to go up it. I seem to remember a fair bit of the track past Split Rock Falls was fairly slippery too, and I went at the end of summer. I actually fell and bruised my ribs quite badly on one section of the track. It was a beautiful walk though, worth doing.

Nice pictures!!

That has almost inspired me in to getting a new camera but sadly i dont have the patience. Atleast I know who i need to take with me when to take the picture for the wall of a new house! Was looking in the gallery in westbury and you guys are just as good and significantly cheaper.

Excellent!

Looks like it was a great day, fantastic pics!

I was really hoping to get along but it didn't work out (might have something to do with having 3 young children........don't have the spare time that I used to have!). I really want to get to Meander Falls this winter, I imagine that there would be plenty of water comnig off it at the moment. We're also hoping to get to St Columbia Falls in the next month or so; with the kids this time as it is a pretty short and easy walk - about 20min or so I believe from the car park (get them into it while they're young!!).

Hopefully I can tag along for another walk some time, it would be great to meet some of the BT team :D

Really great pics,
Looks like a lot of fun all round. I'm planning on doing this same walk on August 15th for the 1st time and was wondering what the track markers were like. I went up to Split Rock falls in April and was blown away by what a beautiful place it was, next time I might do it clockwise, anti-clockwise was pretty tough :) I found no great amount of difficulty with the markers there and was wondering if they compare well to Meander Falls? :D

Thanks
Dave
