Wilderness coast

Sun 02 Mar, 2014 8:37 pm

My friends and I are just back from five nights along the wilderness coast. Due to water constraints we went from Mallacoota to Little river and back. Great time of year; no ticks! But plenty of black snakes and not much water.
Lots of pictures and a trip report with track notes at our blog http://sonsofthedesert-abushwalkingblog ... coast.html

Having done this walk and cannot recomend it highly enough, great report and pics. Packrafters could definately extend there trip exploring going up river, especially if you fish. Fantasitic black photo.

Which river? The inlet, or the Merrica or Nadgee?

Nadgee river was more suitable for walkers than rafters when we were there!!
