Have a read of the wiki or search the forums. I made a thread and then updated the wiki a couple years back. http://bushwalk.com/wiki/index.php/Overland_Track_-_General_Informationblossom wrote:Hi folks
it's been a good many years (10) since i walked into SK hut and hubby and i are planning on spending a few nights there soon in June. Does anyone know if it has heating and do you think we would be ok to go without a tent?

I don't see how a request for clarification is manipulation, sometimes I find it hard to interpret written text.
Regarding my link, I took the question at face value and was wasn't sure if the answer I had already posted had been missed.
I did not know if what blossom actually meant was "whether there would be fuel at the hut".

The latter. It IS Friday night, you know.
geoskid wrote:Oh, Blossom, If you want a Xmas in July at Scott Kilvert Hut, can be arranged - 2 weeks notice should be enough - just PM the Nutster.

Hehe, I Know , thank you NNW - but we should hang *&%$#! on people we know, like you, or me, not Blossom.
BTW NNW, What do you do to distinguish between everyday normality and special occasions/events?
And the other thing is - now that you live in Tas, when can you come up and meet me , my boys and wife - they know some things about you , you know.
