I'll be off to Melbourne tomorrow morning for a few days but still plan to come along Saturday morning.

See you then (whoever that may be :D )

Looks like there might be 6 or 7 of us there, which is a good number. I'm looking forward to meeting a few more of you in a couple of days.

See you then!

Here's the photographic evidence of our coffee meetup at the Blue Cafe, Launceston this morning. It was great to put faces to names and chat about our common interests over quality drinks and in a pleasant setting. L to R Clownfish and Mrs Clownfish, Tasadam, Chris, SOB and daughter, Phil, Brett and Tas-man.

Likewise it is good to put faces (and names) to 'names'. I was sorry to have to be the first one to break up the party, as it was a most pleasant morning, but grand-daughter-of-a-beach had to get home to bed.

I spent the afternoon digging in the rain which was much less pleasant.

Thanks for posting the picture, tas-man, and your name tag was a classic. They should be compulsory at all such events.

My word grand -daughter -of -a-beach has sure grown since she was thrust in to my arms at Scout Lodge with the words "here you must be corvus" a much cherished moment :D

She's a bit of a heffalump, eh? But she's finally started walking so I'm sure that she will soon be proportioned differently. If she was thrust into your arms now, they'd get tired very quickly! :-)

Hi Tas-man,

Thanks for posting the photo, it is nice to be able to put some faces to names, I hope I can make a BW-T social meet up one day.

And here is why I prefer to be on the other side of the camera.

If you're wondering, I was distracted by one of the artworks on the walls, right at the moment Claire took the photo.

sorry to have to be the first one to break up the party

We were out the door at pretty much the same time, as I was being dragged off to get some new eyes.

Well, the meetup was scheduled for 10AM.
As the exif info was removed from the attached image, I had to look for another way to indicate that the coffees were already consumed...

All the tweaking I could do and I cannot bring out any more detail, can only see one hand on Ian's watch, so both hands must be in line - so the time must have been 10:55 am.
How did I do Ian?

Coffee was alright for a bought one. 8)
Company was great, was nice to put faces to names.

Thanks for the invite corvus, I would love to but I tend to float towards day walks at this point in my life (3 young kids). I was hoping to join you on the Meander Falls walk recently but didn't manage to fit it into the calender :(

I'll certainly keep an eye on the proposed walks in the future and will definitely try to tag along for one :)
