Keep an eye out for a blue Daihatsu Charade.
Hopefully they find Keith soon.

TASMANIA Police are concerned for the welfare of missing Glenorchy man Keith John Murray.

Mr Murray, a keen bushwalker, was last seen at home on Friday March 20, according to police.

He left home in his blue 1996 Daihatsu Charade, EP 2014 and took his sleeping bag and wet weather gear.

Mr Murray often went away for a couple of nights to various parks bushwalking, but generally maintained phone contact with family.

On this occasion there has been no contact with his family or friends since March 20 and his phone is not emitting a signal.

Mr Murray suffers from diabetes and requires insulin. Police are extremely concerned about him given his medical condition and the fact that he has never been away for such an extended period.

Police and Mr Murray’s friends have been searching remote roads and car parks at walking trails to try and locate his vehicle and believe the car is critical to locating him.

Mr Murray had mentioned a variety of walks in recent times, including Adamson’s Peak, the Wellington Ranges, Cradle Mountain and the Tasman Peninsula.

Parks and Wildlife officers have been advised, but police think a member of the public may well see or have seen Mr Murray’s Daihatsu and if so they are urged to contact police immediately.
