Hmmm... its got a Wellington Range feel about it.
I'd guess its Collins Bonnet and Trestle Mt, taken from Collins Cap :)

Eggs issue has me perplexed. I can't see how it could possibly be related to any change made here but I've learned that there's rarely such a thing as coincidence in IT. My immediate reaction was somewhere in the Wellington Range and about the only place that fits is Collins Cap looking at Collins Bonnet and Trestle Mountain. edit: too slow!

hmm y'know there haven't been many photos from this area for some reason.
It's definitely Freycinet. From Mt Graham it looks like.

Yup - well done Nick.
Taken from the summit of Mt Graham, looking towards Cape Tourville (if you squint just right, you should see the lighthouse).

This was one of those "memorable" walks... an insanely hot day, we ran out of water going over Graham from Cooks (and the previously reliable creek on the far-side of Graham was bone dry). Got to Wineglass where we were planning to stay, but as we didn't have enough water, continued abit slowly over the saddle to the car-park in a somewhat dehydrated state (headaches, seizing/cramping muscles etc). Great trip to convince my wife that bushwalking was an exciting hobby!
Anyway, we learnt out lesson, and now (nearly always) carry too much water :p

Nick - you're it...

Thats it stu. Looking toward Mt Albert and the east coast.
Just an aside, you ever wondered why Mt Albert isn't called Mt Saddleback even though it looks much more like a horse saddle?
I read somewhere that's it was due to some naming stuff up, and that Mt Saddleback was it's original name.. fun trivia fact

Pretty apt that they are now next to each other tho, being a husband & wife from history (ie. Queen Victoria & Prince Albert).
These next 2 shots are of the same feature on a particular mountain, very distinct if you have been there...

Hmmm, might get difficult to trick you Amanda.
For those that haven't been there, you can access Mt Wright as a day trip from the Rhona track, just after crossing the Gordon River.
It is off track, but easy going through button grass with a little scrub here & there, & a fairly long ascent from the Vale of Rasselas to the tops.
A ridge top traverse is highly recommended, starting at the high point on the southern end & going along the tops to the northern end where this amazing arch is a stand out feature. There is also another smaller arch along the tops & good camping in fair conditions with water from a few little tarns.
Over to you Amanda...

I am only good for close up shots when I have been there
I had no idea about that arch - but it was magnificent.
[Does anyone know if the Bombadier track to the Gordon Gorge is the start point for that Mt Wright traverse?
Can you cross the river there? (map says there used to be a flying fox) ]

This looks like a shot of Western Bluff in the distance with the ridge out from Artillary Knob below on the left.
It looks like tourist central with all those people & the poles also indicate major traffic.
So yep - I reckon I have been here.

In fact I have a great photo (not digitised) of my newly wed bride just where the couple is in the background holding a snow ball over that edge.
Weather was about the same as this photo.

I have another photo in a complete whiteout of my poor young family (wife and 4 kids) huddled around the top most cairn which would be just out of the picture to the right.
So its the top of Cradle Mountain - and I suggest you jump in with the next photo ILUVSWTAS - you were close enough.

Lol .Strange logic about me being close enough.. but thanks.
I know the flying fox has been dismantled at the gordon bend and I presume the one at the gorge would be the same (I was told they were getting too unsafe)

Should be easy enough to tell the range. Hopefully the location may take a couple of guesses.
