Re: Arm River -> Mt Ossa in Snow

anyway, just went for a cruise up to the head of the track, is open, some trees across road could be hazardous, but if care is taken all should be fine.

There is, however, a bus with a flat tyre, dead smack in the middle of the road.

ROFL.

Anyway....looks nice up there, just some remnant snow about was mild and sunny.

So, now you know. :)

One would suspect that if the Bus is dead smack in the middle of the road it would be or have been somewhat of an obstacle !!

Yes, I imagine the bus will be by now gone. I was rather surprised that the driver had left it in the middle of the road, apparently unconcerned about the plight of other users...but, who knows? He may have been chased out by a tribe of indignant bushwalkers...

(joking)

I was in a two wheel drive hi lux. the only hazard being going off road for the bus, and deviating around the trees into the mush at the side of the road. I saw no indignant bushwalkers.
