Hi All
I am a bit stuck for ideas at the moment. I have had a work commitment rearrange my plans for me and I cannot go to Port Davey. I was planning on a kayak out to Spain Bay, do a little fishing, once outside the protected areas, and then explore Bathurst Harbour a little.
Unfortunately it is no longer possible and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a short hike and camp, my desires are;
4ish hours walking
camping (hammock or ground with tarp shelters, don't need a huge amount of clear space)
fishing (coastal or lake that is open year round)
a fire would be great (considering it is July and we use a wood gas stove, the risk of rampant bush fire should be minimal)
I know it is asking a lot and I am happy to tick only a few boxes or take any suggestions, just wanted to show my interstate relatives something other than Freycinet and Cockle Creek/Recerche Bay. Somewhere a bit out of the way.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or tips, all is welcome and appreciated.
Thanks
Matt
